剧情简介

The series is narrated by Mason Pettit. Each parted episode starts off with a haunted hotspot on a map of the United States. A particular haunted location is selected in a state and thus begins the journey into the unknown. Parnormal investigators, Historians, psychics, and mediums all discover the secrets behind these hotspots. Plus historical footage and interviews from eyewitness reports on the paranormal is told from personal encounters with ghosts, spirits, and everything that is supernatural.

Visit the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado -- the place that inspired Stephen King's The Shining. Also included are a haunted Southern plantation, a prison where the inmates have stayed long after they died, an abandoned tuberculosis sanitarium, St. Louis Cemetery #1 -- perhaps the most haunted graveyard in America in New Orleans, Louisiana and a house in Iowa where 8 people were brutally murdered.

visit the Shanghai Tunnels underneath the city of Portland, Oregon, where people were kidnapped and sold to slavery. Also included in this episode are a tattoo parlor that sits on the site of a former funeral home, the Lemp Mansion in St. Louis, Missouri, a haunted honky tonk saloon in Kentucky, The Whaley House in San Diego, California, the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, California -- which is said to have been designed by ghosts and the scariest road in America.

Visit Cheesman Park in Denver, Colorado -- built on top of a graveyard. Also in this episode: Fort Mifflin in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, The Devil's Tree in New Jersey, Manresa Castle in Washington state, an old textile factory in Rhode Island with a horrible history of child labor, Archer Avenue in Justice, Illinois, Stone's Public House -- an early American inn in Massachusetts and finally, the location where the legend of axe murderer Lizzie Borden was born.

Visit the Liar's Club in Chicago, Illinois -- where numerous murders have occurred throughout the years. Also included are The Watseka Wonder, an abandoned psychiatric ward, a haunted bed and breakfast in Fort Worth, Texas, the U.S.S. Lexingtion, a.k.a. "The Blue Ghost"-- where long dead military are still serving, an old sugar plantation in Louisiana and finally, Cohoes Music Hall in Cohoes, New York -- perhaps the most haunted concert hall in America.
