剧情简介

April 14, 1865, Washington, D.C.: As the nation celebrates the end of the Civil War, an angry man strikes a final blow for the South. John Wilkes Booth shoots President Abraham Lincoln in front of thousand horrified onlookers and simply disappears into the night. For almost two weeks following, he is able to elude thousands of searchers. National Geographic investigates Booth's daring escape attempt and one of the largest manhunts in United States history.
